Basically, the EOS-M only makes sense with this lens correctly. People with fairly large hands (like me) can already Vanish almost in hand the camera together with this lens. So you can operate totally inconspicuous street photography. However, it is in the people faster than older people move again problematic. Because the Achilles' heel of the EOS M, the slow autofocus, when this lens is the more clearly. It focuses much more slowly than the 11 - 22er UWW. But if you resign yourself so that you get very complacent and sharp above all recordings in most cases. Mine was at F2.8 in the middle of the sharpest in F4 still very good. The edges I would (depending on the subject) rate well up with F4. From F8 the image has then usually a balanced sharpness from edge to center. However, the perceived higher sharpness in the center at F 2.8 is no longer so pronounced. Anyone using Lightroom 5.6 (like me), the lens correction is activated barely remember anything of vignetting. But of course there is then at high magnification somewhat blurred at the edges.
Because there is no stronger light lens for EF-M mount for the time it is actually a must-have for every EOS M users.
The biggest for me gripe is the lack of an image stabilizer. In this respect, the lens Available Light is unfortunately only limited use.
I once 2 pictures uploaded regarding exemption and sharpness. (1: 1 excerpt)
Update 04/10/2014
At last I was able to conduct a photo shoot in bright sunshine. Am now impressed with the resolution, the shutter 4 in combination with landscape photographs 'magic'. Which are typically straight in depth such. Ex. Mountainsides with woods in the background a little further removed forms the lens from amazingly well. However, you should definitely be on RAW for the maximum possibilities recourse.
