A Room of One's Own (Paperback)

Customer Review

Asked by students of Cambridge on the following topic "Women and the novel" Virginia Woolf tries in this pamphlet meet their expectations and allowed to express his irritation and his convictions on the subject, while returning on Women's history of literature ...

She explains how women were always unable to express any genius, they were placed under the financial and intellectual influence of men, deprived of the essential, ie what live time and a "room of her own."

I wanted to read the writings of Virginia Woolf long and especially this writing there.
That's done, and I am pleased to have shared for a few pages the train of thought of this author.
A higher degree, his demonstration meeting my thoughts of the moment. How to write in the living room and the children (Jane Austen apparently it was very successful) without time to do without sometimes needed solitude to dream a little?
