I'm the kind of public good read ... well I did not cry. That is my only regret over this book. Yet there are all the ingredients of emotion, the story is beautiful, the writing is fluid. But it is not enough in between the intimate characters, they remain very distant and do not affect us.
Too bad because Hugo Boris could, adding a pinch of intimacy between Louis, Fanny and we sign an excellent novel rather than simply good ;-) This is promising for the next one!
