I regret to join the other reviewers: use, function, result properly, it's really fun to cook with this device Sandwiches - until the lock breaks, unfortunately then end.
The device is also designed so that it does not break down easily and can use anything scratch built. At the slightest attempt to open the case, crumbles away, the rest of the plastic cladding, either because from the outset so brittle or extremely rapid wear. A real shame.

Supplement for hobbyists: the "Krups FDK 441 Spare parts" (or "451/452 spare parts") can quickly find replacement via common search engines. Significantly, there is exactly for the device as a further spare parts in the lower fairing of the handle, so the part that almost inevitably breaks when changing.
