Cocoa for dummies could have been the title. This book very well written (you can feel the author's formative experience) re-explains the basic C programming and object. of course it requires some basic C to understand but no need to be an expert in C. The book is divided into several small chapter (35) or each chapter topic. I set myself a subject per day (after day) and AC will keep the clear idea. I had never done mac program (I just windows of the world and so I use Visual Studio and C #) but this book made me immediately enter the world of programming on mac. It also shows how "good programmer" with minimal code and maximum use of this class in the frameworks cocoa. I have not finished reading this book (I'm in Chapter 9) and I could already write nice little application. Although this book contains some examples of the console application, it is mainly oriented graphics (and that's good). Very well translated into French (even the comment in the code are translated). For me it is THE book to have! reading one has the impression of taking training :)
