I tested the belt on my spade or used. As I quickly realized 2 meters are not so much as one might think at first. (I did not have to glue the entire surface before the spade handle! Just a little more than six inches to give the calluses while gardening no chance.)
In this respect should not allow too many uses for the 10-euro one band.
The tape is loosely wound and quite flexible. If you are using you have to remove the protective film on the back and from unwinding. This manufacturer should lt. Avoid overlapping. The adhesive surface should be cleaned and free of grease.
The glue I found personally not quite so simple. Which certainly also depends on the form to be bonded, my spade handle is slightly conical.
One should be careful that the tape does not stick. Taking too much, to the edge of the belt rotates easily a. My goal is to stick the tape seams on the seam to create the most pleasant handle and the nub was free, just near.
All in all I'm very happy with the band and my new grip surface. However, I must say that I find the tape relatively expensive. As long as the band keeps under stress will probably show in the course of the school year.
** ** ADDENDUM 25/04/2015
I have the tape used on my spade handle, wood. This was used in the last few weeks very often. Here one sees the well to the tape. At the beginning and end of it starts to dissolve.
And yet, it's great, my palms thank the band.
