I understand the old fans of Unholy are downright disappointed that the Earl and his men have been trying for the big commercial breakthrough with "Grosse Freiheit" now continue, no longer making music only passion, but also making money in mind. But if we are all honest, we would make it just as unholy. Money is money and life can surely make a big piece pleasant. I myself am one of those who have this band also only met a success group and where the good ballads like with real-life texts and had so far only the Winter Edition of Grosse Freiheit. Thus, I belong to the main target group of all best-of CD, namely, but not just collect the people who find an artist good though the albums, but are satisfied with just such a compilation. Since hits the bestseller Grosse Freiheit and lights are included in the first part of the city, to the two less powerful ESC posts and in the second part then some titles of the first albums that I also liked all, can with best-of- Unholy commercially seen anything go wrong, and the top chart position is secured. Because Unholy Genre moderately still considered metal band, I can imagine that the old albums were much harder and more angular and the troops with its present mix of pop / rock / pop, which is even yes Carmen Fog fit their old fans scare. But to me this quiet sounds are very nice and I'm sure this album insert frequently or listen to the iPod. Something is badly chosen time of year for this release, but the holiday season would have been absolutely ideal for this purpose. Since all love contemplative and introspective and especially the lyrics are rather intended for the winter time and not for spring fever. PS19.03.2014) Due to many comments I know now that Unholy also previously brought good ballads all right and the genre name Metal is not really appropriate. I put the CD on i-tunes pure, this genre is, however, associated with and that's why I thought they had previously made much harder music. I listen to gradually watching the old albums and find there a lot of very good songs, which I would never have without your instructions. So thank you for the many hints.
