The USB ports are a bit closer together than the USB 3.0 version, but there should be no problems even with slightly wider USB sticks. The terminals and the cables are well made and the processing there is nothing to complain about.
Of course I have also tested this hub through its paces with a variety of USB sticks and hard drives, and input peripherals. Recognition problems there were in any device. The hub is hot-swappable, the change in operation is not a problem.
The material used is silver painted plastic. By the optics hub fits perfectly with Apple and generally to devices in aluminum design.
Who does not have USB 3.0 hardware should resort to this hub, because it is more compact. Who needs the full speed of USB 3.0, I recommend the aforementioned USB 3.0 version of this stroke.
