Compact and versatile but with detail defects

I fell into the eye, as it visually, although simple but still elegant and even almost valent affects the Goal Zero Luna LED strip in an outdoor shop. I bought it. Actually as a reading lamp in the car for leisure travel

It is used to date, however, to illuminate only one USB port on the desktop PC on the desk and the keyboard. The light temperature is more typical LED cool but whitish in pleasant area and never blue. The luminosity is surprisingly good and completely enough for my purposes. Although it does not replace a large desk lamp, but offers enough light to illuminate pleasant nor the table in a dark room next to the monitor and they can be adjusted very accurately without glare while.

Adversely In practice, however, I feel 3 things:

1. No off switch, so you have to constantly plugging and unplugging the bar. Very annoying!

2. The gooseneck is a little weak dimensioned and holds the weight of the bar just as in the balance. The slightest touch or shake table, the lamp cuts you up. Thus, the envisaged purpose of use in touring cars is questionable, as probably every bump will cause the neck lowers down.

3. The weight of the lamp, you need a stable USB port with the least possible play. With me drawing to the connector on the USB connector down and also acts here a little shaky.

Due to these functional defects I give the light only 3 stars, despite nice optics and good light quality. Who so life can receive a small, fine and versatile LED lamp to have a reasonable price.
