Compact in every respect

A few weeks ago I got the LG GD510 POP smartphone, and now I'm going to share my experience with you.
First, a few general words:

Who ordered this phone itself, should be aware that it is compact in every way. Not only the size of the device but also its functions are more compact. It is not Wi-Fi capable and has no UMTS, so is not really suitable for surfing, checking for e-mails or other small ranges EDGE but completely. It also does not have an outstanding camera, MP 3 are somewhat meager added, but those like me who used his cell phone camera and not as a maximum for rare snapshots than those who can safely forego more MP. To use the mobile phone is very pleasant and intuitive, and some changes are still well hidden.

We come first to the previously identified disadvantages and flaws:
# No Wi-Fi (you know, however, before ordering sichs)
# Can not received with "business cards" or contact start (format unknown)
# Camera shutter sound can not be deactivated
# Pictures can not be rotated via mobile phone
-> Portrait pictures can therefore only be lying (= upside down) is used as a contact picture etc.
# Deceptive battery indicator (battery empty - recharge after 5 minutes, the display shows battery level high until after a few minutes, the "Low Battery" message appears)

Not to mention the numerous positive remarks:
# Touch screen with very good response to both nail than on fingertip
# Widgets that can be arranged on the first of three home screens (notes, clock, music player, calendar, slideshow, ...)
# Many different wake-up possible
# The possibility of solar cells for the battery
# Environmentally friendly packaging (aside from the plastic bags for the items)
# Good camera quality

NEUTRAL Comments:
# The Lifescreen I think is pretty pointless
# The default Pocket Apps I consider well for quite sinnfrei
# Battery for a touchscreen phone is not bad, but not exactly outstanding

CONCLUSION:

The list of disadvantages is substantial, but they are all not particularly serious. Inexpensive, the phone is definitely, and I was happy to see me really a modern smartphone that is not so cluttered with superfluous options. It offers everything I expect from my phone, maybe even a bit more what I. For me personally, the only significant end drawback is the lack of Wi-Fi.
