In every respect an exceptional game!

Rarely has so entranced me a game! Who speaks good English and coped violence in games, can experience wonderful 12 hours a sophisticated story, outstanding dialogues and a round game mechanics. Suitable for beginners and casual players.

The story takes place in the fictional New York City borough of Fabletown. Here, a series of fairytale characters have settled, who were expelled from their home countries and seek refuge in our world. Snow works as Secretary of State, the big bad wolf is their sheriff, the beast carries packages to keep yourself and the Beautiful afloat.

The other fairytale characters has made it worse, prostitution, violence and drug govern. About this situation, there is great dissatisfaction, why Fabletown is anything but a fairy tale tranquil neighborhood. We assume the role of Bigby Wolf, of the Sheriff has his hands full, the fairy-tale characters (the already not trust him because of unpleasant memories shared) from the rebel hold, and often has to resort to violence in order to prevail. One can count ourselves lucky that the fairy-tale characters a lot more enduring than normal people.

After the player has been properly introduced to the world, we go: A cruel murder occurs, Bigby Wolf and Snow White to start the investigation. The story is so rich application that I want to tell in no case more because every word spoil anything and could take some small surprise.

The gameplay is typical little adventure: We manage Bigby Wolf mainly in conversations in which we each have four possible answers. We have to quickly decide on a response, otherwise silent Bigby. We can choose only one answer forfeited the other alternatives and never be available again in the rule also. So you have to constantly think and just watch what questions you will suspect, in order to involve them in contradictions. The behavior has a direct impact on the story.

The battles take place in quick time events to which one reacts with arrow keys, usually with no decision possibility. This works the whole game quite well, only fight for victory I would have liked a bit more of their own influence. For this, I can but put the game in good conscience game beginners to the heart, which are guaranteed by the game mechanics not overwhelmed.

You can not save and do not go back what was once said, remains irrevocably said. This, together with the constant pressure of time means that you forget everything around you in no case would you make a mistake and Fabletown let more depraved than already happened. While the immersion was not quite as high as with Heavy Rain because Bigby when it goes for one of the fights, but still wakes up again so deep that I could identify closely with the people to life.

I put in computer games special emphasis on storytelling and dialogue, which are often neglected even large game companies. In this game, both were absolutely convincing! The people are coherent and three-dimensional, the dialogue witty, the twists of the story unexpected but perfectly logical. Some scenes really go under the skin, without inflated feelings and Kitsch (who has already played the game: the confession of Woody and the examination of the second dead were my highlights!).

Big emotions, hysterical scenes and heartbreaking farewells you do not get here anyway, and that's good! The game takes with one hand, but the emotions are subtle, authentic and unstereotyp.

Each of the four episodes has feature-length and should be played in one piece due to lack of memory function (otherwise restarts play at the last auto save point again, and it may be that you double plays scenes). For statisticians a special highlight: After each episode we learn how other players have chosen in the key scenes. This is not only very interesting, but sometimes soothing, if you look annoyed about his stupid decision and noted that 60% of the players have also reacted like (:
