Overpriced - but in every respect very good properties

After about four weeks of life, I can only give a very good score for this device: I've never seen a notebook with such speed. Starting is a matter of seconds thanks to SSD. The fast start is interrupted only by logging in to the Microsoft account. This can be done, as I read somewhere, even stop. But there are only a few seconds to turn the workplace (tiles Win 8) "is". Win 8 is a matter of taste. I have it initially disliked, now I got used to it. If you have a corresponding mouse, you can also quickly switch between the tile pattern and the normal screen and the icons have to search not only in some corners. However Win 8 makes a stable impression, the Explorer (crashes).
I can say for processing that this is properly to the device itself. On various pages is yes to read that the cover is not flush with the device, stickers are wrong, etc. Who gets excited about crooked sticker, which is recommended to remove this. This I could not find in my device, but rather speaks for a sloppy job, if this should be in this new model also in some way. (This has also been repeatedly criticized by the previous model, in this already).

The Asus is not noisy even at full capacity.
The device makes a high quality impression.
The keyboard is just right for me as a prolific writer (10-finger high write speed). She does not rattle, has a good touch and useful for somewhat larger fingers.
The connections are entirely sufficient.
Amazingly, on the Notebook software installed little nobody needs.
An enclosed CD contains some programs and drivers, etc., but is not in use, the regularly examine the appliance for new drivers (of attitude).
The sound quality is not outstanding but also in order. I do not need sound machine.
Included is the separate woofer and an external DVD drive.
What bothered me is the resolution: On the one hand I thought that a higher resolution is logically clear what is so, only I can do with this resolution not because the letters are so small that you have with your nose in front of the Notebook hangs around at all to be able to recognize what. I have the resolution 1920 x 1080 adjusted and am satisfied. The higher would be perfectly designed for a 17 inch model. There are thus no worse image quality but but it does the eyes good :-).
For a 15 inch screen, the resolution is just too high, therefore deliver a point.

All programs run smoothly, videos do not stutter.
Only games I have not yet tested. Is actually not been a reason to buy.

Possibly one reason dises Zenbook not to buy is actually the price.
I have long before buying various equipment looked at, read tests, etc. In shortlisted Samsung, Asus and Apple Leonovo and just arrived.
Since it is only patronized by Apple as a customer, the issue was settled.
Since the Zenbook has good facilities (256 SSD, 8GB of RAM, ext. DVD players, Core i7, etc.) like the price in relation to the shortlist of voting machines to be reasonably appropriate. Similar devices with the same features are also not expensive.

The battery life is not too outstanding: Ca. He holds by five hours - 4. (Internet, office, picture editing). Charging time is a few hours.

All in all, I have been very good, get a pricey, but for me, in terms of equipment and quality (also appearance) super fast device.
If you already lying down for an almost new phone from the upper class to the 700 Euro, this price is relatively ok.

So far I am very satisfied. Possibly I'll still nachberichten once I notice something special.
