Deep cleansing vs. Precision Clean:
Chill the depths cleaning brushes are a bit harder than the Precision Clean on first use. Due to the slightly larger brush head to the teeth with the depths cleaning brush also feels slightly different than the 'normal' Precision Clean, but that's my experience pure habit. Brush after a few times you do not notice it. What, however, has a lasting impression on me is the result: So your teeth feel smooth and clean on longer after brushing (yet), not only on the teeth but especially at the interdental spaces and along the gumline. Therefore, I am so far completed their transition to the depths-cleaning brushes.
Who should uses the deep cleansing brush for the first time in my experience generally begin gently to prevent them from damage gums. In comparison, the Cross Action:
The bristles of the CrossAction feel at first a little harder. However, I can not say that this would be noticed negatively when cleaning similar to the deep cleansing brush. From the result, the deep cleansing and CrossAction take my feeling not much. Price:
For stability of CrossAction I can not say anything because I use only relatively new. An update will follow. I also have the impression that the deep-cleaning wear less quickly than the traditional Precision Clean, whereby the slightly higher price does not necessarily reflected in the user's purse itself. The far greater savings are realized anyway, if one pays attention to one hand deals (Amazon is here very often cheaper than large chains) and if larger packaging units. The brushes are packaged individually and are not bad.
In the small packaging the deep cleansing brushes are at an advantage. The four-pack currently costs about Amazon 14.90, which corresponds to a price per brush of 3.73. Larger packaging units there is not currently on Amazon itself, unfortunately. In contrast, the three-pack of CrossAction with 15.95 and a price per brush of 5.32 is significantly higher. However, there is the CrossAction via Amazon also Five Pack (23.95 -> 4.79 / brush), in the 7 + 1 Series (32.90 -> 4.11 / brush) and in 8 + 2er (36.49 -> 3.65 / brush). Thus the 10-pack of CrossAction is more than 30% cheaper (per brush) as the 3-pack. Compare here is definitely worthwhile!
Compatibility of CrossAction with older models:
The CrossAction replacement brush head works according to product description with all Oral-B handpieces (on my old 5000), except with the sonic toothbrushes from Oral-B.
Conclusion:
Even after several years, I am still enthusiastic about the cleaning results deep cleansing brush. The CrossAction I see roughly equal.
