Comparisons to the original are schwachsinn

For the first time I have seen yesterday the release of Frida Gold at the ESC broadcast on ARD and must say I was surprised.
Although it is a cover, but one that matches the original in anything!
One should stop the 80 or 90, if you covert this to compare with the original.
Today we have technology and other options, if only by these songs heard differently and also fit well in the present day.
For all I can covers which this song in 15 or 20 years back when it suits then.
I find Frida Gold has revived with this song a very good number.
