I've been a good 3 months owner of this Canon MX printer. In retrospect, I would not buy me the device, because my main good & low to Print backfired. The problem is that the print quality is just bad with compatible cartridges. I tried five different manufacturers, including also functioned cartridges from manufacturers in my Canon PIXMA IP4500 wonderful. The biggest problem are bar codes, which are just so frayed that this poses problems for DHL and Hermes. The text is also frayed and slightly smudged. I know that problem is not to Canon, but you should keep this in mind if you want to run your printer low.
Negative for me:
Front flap wobbly
Frequent cleaning phases
to small cartridges (frequent changes needed)
ADF draws sometimes wrong one (lead too far down)
the glossy surfaces are quickly over and have a dust magnet
Positive for me:
easy handling
very quiet Rests
many connection options
