Completely ineffective

I have 2 of these units ordered, since we have the problem that every day (!), The neighbor's cat puts her pile in our carport. The first unit I installed before the carport driveway because I can cover a large catchment area in order here. The second remained in his box.

That same evening, I noticed that the cat prowls unfazed before the carport and some chases a little animal. The next day then showed that the device did not bring anything and was again to find a heap in the carport.
