I had the privilege of attending a few years ago at a concert by Daniel Barenboim at the Salle Pleyel. I still remember it like it was yesterday when we were in 1975. He played there including concertos No. 20,21 and 23 by Mozart. In this CD, everything comes back, I slowed my breathing when the piano is so soft and frail, like he was giving up the ghost. I have several versions of the Mozart concertos. It is a pity they are overused. This version, that of Daniel Barenboim is by far the best, the best, the first. This talented conductor, is an outstanding pianist, he shows us again, as if proof were needed ... Would recommend to fans and non-fans to discover this musical world.
