Sorry, it gives me the impression, as if the major electronics companies have colluded with the insurance companies and, if necessary, deliver an on completion of such a policy "durable" device, so that a loss event really should never happen.
The other way around thought: Why should TV, washing machine and Co. no longer than two years hold without defects (out)? Na klaro because otherwise run out of insurance empty and poor, small and medium-sized no service contract would receive etc. more for repair. We pay anyway everything with (eg stimulus packages I / II;. Abwrackpräme etc.). There is not Bedaf my opinion an additional insurance!
That was as it used to burn with the light bulb that never stopped and had to fear for their sales the manufacturer. Here they had finally contrast controlled to reduce the shelf life of these lamps. But who closes today on a policy for a light bulb ?! The same procedure only in larger scale and with other factors happening today, one is gefeiht at nothing! Long live the mass production and technological progress.
In case of damage, I'm really curious to see how an insurance company regulated the matter. Experience has shown that this is always the last covered as long as, moreover, there is still a household contents and liability insurance. And then insurance is also keen to ward off unjustified claims (exclusion criteria). These are usually in the small print in the insurance conditions.
So, it is not a criticism, but considering it is all worth it once if it necessarily requires the need!
