Metal finish, very pleasant and accurate putters button closes connections and for now no sizzle.
This device can alternatively or simultaneously handle three pairs of active speakers (including subwoofer), so ideal to realize the mix of a song.
Directly connect the output of your audio interface on one of the beast entries (there are three: two input jacks and an RCA input 6.5) and add up to three pairs of speakers, buttons A, B & C to to use a particular pair of speakers with a push or all three at the same time ... Simple and devilishly effective!
Each output has a volume putter putter plus a master volume.
The sound that passes through the monitor station remains very neutral, I have not noticed any change or not, the device is very quiet and heats very little.
The quality / value / price seems really exceptional.
