Hard drive performance and
Quality of the housing.
For performance; this is for a 5400 disk absolutely in the context of who should get what needs faster to a 7200.
But the housing:
It's plastic, but plastic of the cheapest variety, 4 rubber feet which could actually provide some insulation.
Unfortunately at this HDD is almost nothing insulated, press the plate with his hand slightly together you realize clearly that it is quieter and that is not subjective opinion because I have right next to a 7200 2.5 "disk are in a 9EUR Transcend housing which goes down in the noise floor of Iomega. Even when accessing I hear nothing from actually faster and therefore louder plate.
In addition, the Iomega housing is comparatively thick and slightly elongated.
Since the board was very low overall, I'm going to keep it, but replace the housing (which should be fairly easy; under the rubber feet bedinden directly the screws)
Conclusion: Who the (unnecessary - because only the housing debt) not annoying noise and nothing against very cheap plastic optics has can access safely.
