Convinced not quite

I already had a rear-dashcam which worked well for a few years. After a few years! This one is even better, now offers full HD and costs only a third (not purchased from Amazon). I like the design, the camera is pretty unremarkable. The installation is a breeze. The large mirror looks good. Annoying were only the blue and the red function LED right in mirror image, which unfortunately can not be switched off. Helped me with a piece of black electrical tape between the LED on the motherboard and the mirror glass. So I was able to study the inner workings of the camera.

The image quality is unfortunately below average, rather than VGA Full HD. Sharpness and color rendering are not really good. But but the price is also very low. Cameras with better image are significantly more expensive. Audio is also not so good; on the recording is always a whistling sound. Nevertheless, I think that's part of any good. As a practical and unobtrusive dashcam for little money in principle suitable. Unfortunately, the camera hangs after some use on almost every time she should go down after power off, so you have to switch it off manually. Resets not solve the problem, unfortunately. Too bad ...

Be careful when price! You can pay 25 to 80 euros for the same part. For Amazon, the price rose recently abruptly by ten euros.
