objectively unpack, make off the menu "without triggering objectively" activate and go. am wide-fan and the walimex (Samyang or rokinon or whatever) 8mm f2.8 like really good. which is sharpness at f2.8 over the entire image plane already very good (I'll try a few crops raufzuladen) it is difficult to judge, but at f5.6 / f8 it seems most sharply, but also at f11, it is still very sharp, even at f16 is little diffraction blur to recognize. CA's are virtually non-existent, that is with the simple point of view just wow! Manual operation is absolutely no problem with the part of landscapes, focus sharply on 2m and whatever the aperture, the picture is, at f8 / 11 is then also everything from 1m in front of the lens nice and sharp. thus no fehlfokus more for landscapes, awesome (manually up!). the feel is also very good, can look very sophisticated. also own the SAL 1018 which from f5.6 is also very good, no fish-eye effect and yet almost 2x zoom. but the walimex has the larger viewing angle, needs less light and is just under half the price, so saw a great value on the NEX and all worth the money. the curved lines of the fish-eyes are a matter of taste, I like it.
whether there's production variations, I do not know, got it even googled, but my lens may ensue.
by me a buy recommendation for anyone who wants to have a lot on the image sensor and operate like a nex without automatic mode like.
