First use: at the end of the cooking battery gives up the ghost .. for material supposedly new ??? Let us be conciliatory, a battery can discharge without being used over a very long period. After changing the battery, it works fine for a couple of cooking ... and some parts of the screen no longer appear ... unless you take the hand to press the case. This is what happened to the original timer, which still had a few years of use the meter and whose plastic had cracked around the screws. With the heat more age, it makes sense ... but a new material ??? Much funnier: the markings on the back of the timer fade with moisture !!! (The original still carries all the information) Do you seriously think that a renowned manufacturer produces such a crap ??
