There are two sides in this group: a very pop side, almost cloying, very well developed in the album "Moon Safari" and a more experimental side, more adventurous, more avant-garde, embodied by the first of the EPs group (grouped under the title "First symptoms") and the soundtrack of the excellent "The Virgin Suicides". This new album is undoubtedly a direct offspring of "Moon Safari", a return to simplicity almost pop (despite the production of Nigel Godrich) after the excesses of "10,000 Hz Legend". A very nice collection of pop vignettes ("Cherry Blossom Girl", ideal for single wait until spring), a Clean puff. Yet the air of nothing, we stay a little frustrated: where are the sexy daring "Casanova 70" and winks psychedelic "Dirty trip"? We know that this group may be able to let go sometimes many choses.Peut be that next album they will finally unleash their music as it deserves?
