The lower and upper matrices are the same size (ten centimeters in diameter) but can fit perfectly due to the large screw holding the upper die to the stem of the lowering mechanism.
There is no manual so I spent a few minutes before finding how to remove one hand the lower die juice receptacle and secondly the thing juice receptacle that holds it. We need to turn up the notches and bumps in front of each other (in truth I managed when I shod my spectacles).
For maintenance, you must have dry hands to turn the juice receptacle and remove it from its holder. No more problem for cleaning the lower die. By cons, to clean the upper die, I had to take all the apparatus and return it to flush. Having said this upper die is not much dirty because it was only in contact with the fruit rind.
Regarding the dimensions of the container that can be put underneath to catch the juice. Its maximum height is 13.5 cm and its maximum diameter is 9.5 cm. No luck my juice glasses are 15 cm high. I use a beer mug. For the base, there must be an area of 23.5 cm deep by 18.5 cm wide. For height, there must be dropped with the 43.5 cm and 74 cm lever with the lever up.
I compared the effectiveness of this juicer with that of my centrifuge. I took four large oranges sizes almost identical. Two oranges in the centrifuge have given two full glasses. Two oranges in the juicer also gave two full glasses. It's a good surprise because it remains non-pressed pulp.
For the taste, there is no comparison. I peeled the oranges prior to centrifugation, the juice is sparkling, without pulp and aftertaste with a not very pleasant. With the juicer juice is delicious and with a little pulp.
For maintenance: no comparison either. Remove and clean the juicer takes five minutes. Remove and clean the juicer takes less than two minutes.
