I did the update follow the correct procedure. Unfortunately, the flaws that I observed on images with the previous version have not been impacted. I blame mainly to this unit too much noise for higher ISO 200. Luckily, this defect is compensated by a high performance stabilization that allows very long exposure times without blur. This defect is directly related to the CMOS sensor used. It is also noted by many tests on the web (in English, they had escaped me at the time of purchase, otherwise I think I would not have bought.
The best compromise I've found is the following:
Put in "Aperture Priority" (selector on "A")
Force sensitivity to ISO 100
If you photograph a subject likely to move in low light, set the flash to "slow sync" mode.
Another criticism: the GPS sometimes takes 5 minutes to hang a satellite despite the update. Not really practical ...
Otherwise, the bill is excellent. It gives an impression of great strength. The screen is of good quality. The touch function is very useful when it is necessary to select the focus area.
