If someone were to ask me what I have done so in the last days, I would answer: I've heard Bill Fay. Bill, Who? Yes I know these musicians also only recently bought his CD a week ago and since heard nothing else. In the office, at home, in the car and via I-Pod. Bill Fay`s Life is People accompanies me constantly. Since then I think again increased in the goodness of people see beauty in small things and am even convinced myself a better person can. Four weeks ago I read an article about these extraordinary people and musicians in Rolling Stone magazine. 1970 & 1971 Bill Fay has released two LPs, almost nobody bought yet (or therefore?) Were loved by the critics. Fay retired from the Musikbusineß and began in a factory on an assembly line work. Before short he retired and was designed by musicians and fans persuaded to make music again. This is now available and can (should / must) also be purchased. Because Life is People gathered the most beautiful songs which I could hear for years. Bill Fay`s songs have an incredible warm spirituality and lyrical depth is which only very rarely found in pop music. Musically, we find sumptuous pop which in the tradition of the great songwriter Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel and Elton John stands. Bill Fay`s songs are strokes of luck which are on earth with one foot in heaven and the other. His songs about God are authentic and pervaded by a sincere spirituality. The songs about life and the people are supported by a heartwarming humanism, which drives the blush every cynic. Fay`s songs are the heart and soul and take no prisoners. Conquer mercilessly our innermost. Buy this CD, you darken their rooms, turn on the full and weep tears of sorrow for the people who have gone and tears of joy for all those people that you have to have, I did it. More comfort and healing can be found currently anywhere. Andi Bauer
