Cross Trainer with strong weaknesses

Was delivered to me the elliptical machine of Hermes by truck and the two friendly gentlemen who delivered it to me even contrary to the description to the apartment (basement). Of course that was super.

The box was not physically damaged and the big unpacking began.
All parts were packed extremely costly and safely. Lots of cardboard, Styrofoam and plastic bags. Thus, on the Transport nothing get broken unless it is damaged the carton itself.

After unpacking all parts neatly lined up and found to my pleasant surprise that the bags are numbered with the screws. For each building step a number. This eliminates the need to search for the correct screws. Top!

The building itself was very basic and is also for laymen no problem at all.
Unfortunately then came already the first negative points.
At the point where the rubberized grips are screwed to the lower arms, behind plastic covers come for the appearance of it.
These covers are equipped with barbs and have been fitted to each other when delivered with me. Despite all precautions, the two halves barbs are canceled with the separate. Keep doing but luckily anyway.
Here, the manufacturer should provide individually and not put together the parts!

That was not all. Below the display is another black cover which is held together with quite a bit of "tension". With me so much tension that shortly after it was all screwed, is one of 2 plastic threads demolished with a loud bang. The fit of parts leaves to be desired at this point really left.

The remaining structure did not cause any further negative surprises.

The first training session could start then and according to my expectations this was pretty exhausting for me. I am currently very overweight (too late realized) hypothyroidism, but lay with 129 KG still within the allowable weight for this elliptical machine.
The first time, I was 10 minutes on the machine, everything was good, no squeaks, no creaks, only a low hum of the brake every now and then.
I had previously been a cross trainer, who was so down but after 5 years, which one could only train with hearing protection on same. It was therefore important to me that nothing squeaks or creaks.

That was then but unfortunately the next day. Already at the second session, the device began to be quite annoying squeaks by in the front area. I then checked once the screws and could not believe what I found.
Three of the screws connecting the central part to the lower unit, had no more thread! I do not know what material (aluminum?) Are the screws, but this is something I have not yet seen. Even with my 5 year old device despite the highest stress it does not happen.
Fortunately, I had exactly the right size screws in stock and therefore have all the screws on the central part replaced. The new screws are made of steel and will definitely not go wrong.
But that the squeak was not going away. The exact origin I could not make out.
So I the next day the unit again again wide extent decomposed into its delivery, the joints where was fitted by the manufacturer some sticky goo, greased with LiquiMoly Langzeitfett.
But even that did not improve.

Next, I had the plastic panel on the front lower midsection suspected selbige got away, but the squeaking and creaking remained and even became slowly but surely worse.
Even if I moved the elliptical machine only with the hands to stand on the pedals without, creaked and he squealed every now and then.

Completely unnerved, I have today called Amazon and described the problem, and what I heard there, took my honest language. Only after the phone call, I realized what I told the staff member.
O-Ton: "The problem has been known for some time and I should please first contact the manufacturer".
That means these problems are already several times with customers (who wrote no review) occurred and there are in Amazon system already an instruction for the employees how they should proceed in the event of Reklamierung.

I have now been sent to the data from the manufacturer, tomorrow I'll call there and we will see how we can solve the problem. Honestly I see the black happy I with this elliptical machine will. But the problems put too much in detail and in the quality of materials used.
I'll bring in every case the review here on the cutting edge of development. Currently, I can make this elliptical machine definitely not recommend!

Update: After several phone calls is now clear, the unit goes back and I get my money back. It probably seems to be so that this device is rather less + suitable for customers of 100 KG. I think it is frankly an insult by the manufacturer to sell it with a release up to 130 kg.

On Saturday, the elliptical machine is picked up. In the selfsame disassemble then could see where one of the problems is I. All screws are sometimes badly affected the simple reason because it was saved here at the wrong place and 08/15 Cheap screws were used aluminum.
I can not recommend any from that device only.
