Bought for a NAS that bootait on a USB key. Comparing the performance and price essentially equal, the Samsung 840 is a little higher but the Crucial consumes less (go on hardware.fr). Starting, and writing, incomparable with what I had before. This has the advantage of not too warm (so less and less fan noise). If you want to HTPC is the equipment you need for your system, knowing que.pour large storage capacity, hard drives remain for the time missed.
