CSL - highly recommended DVB-T USB Stick

I am 8 system owned by Windows, me to refer to the Windows 8 has convinced suitability. However, due to the low price, I had my doubts as to whether this hardware would work at all.

The hardware was delivered well packed in a sealed ESD bag. All components additionally packed in separate bags. For this, I impart to the 5 star already without hesitation.

The manual is on the included media. Here's my procedure under Windows 8 64-bit:

1. driver installed on the medium;

2. Antenna cables mini antenna on the USB stick plugged in;

3. USB stick with an attached antenna cable of mini antenna on free USB port infected (with me the front, but I would recommend everyone the front so that the functionality of the remote controls is guaranteed);

4. TotalMedia software installed from the supplied medium;

5. started TotalMedia Software> Stick was easily started identified> Service Searching> 25 transmitters were detected (fabulously mini antenna, I would not have absolutely thought possible);

6. transmitter at its Beilieben sorted;

7. Tada television brought to the PC with a few steps unkompliezerten (Potty steps) without problems and running;

The remote control is not designed for extreme distances, so I ask to be observed. By simply pressing the power button on the remote control, the software TotalMedia automatically switches on, when you press the POWER button again, the software TotalMedia shuts down (just like a real TV ;-)). Volume, Kanlwahl (Down / Up), channel selection by typing the transmitter channel just works straight away.

I recently bought myself a driver update program. After updating all drivers the stick suddenly no longer worked properly, rather there was absolutely no signal present, and also the green light on the embroidery was no longer visible, although it was all the same, so the inspection.

The solution to the problem:
1. Update the driver for the "DK DVBT dongle" + the associated "USB Composite Device" simply to "ignore" set and install by no means!

2. If an update was carried out do not worry, just "select Restoring the Drivers" from the driver update program
-> Make after systemic restart checking the DVBT Stick to function!
-> Then after completion of a positive run, can check driver update program on new drivers, and now begin the process of item 1, in which the update for "DK DVBT dongle" and "USB Composite Device" is set to be ignored !!!
