The down duvet is considering its size relative ease. The cotton fabric feels pleasant. That a down duvet for down smells ... uh, who would have thought? ;-) Funny what some people expect. No one gets upset that gasoline smell of gasoline. After the bed was unpacked and has aired a day on the terrace, the smell has largely dissipated by the way.
What I find quite super on the quilt: It is not "springiness". So, as you would rightly places / -klopft, it remains lie. It fluffed to not return to the point that you have any cracks, through which it can pull through.
To describe in terms of warming properties I can really say anything yet. First isses not so cold, and so far it's me herschenden here temperatures almost too warm. Nevertheless, I noticed that it must have somehow breathing properties. Although too warm, I did not feel that accumulates moisture or so. All in all a pleasant Zudeck feeling.
The bed is quilted, without ridges. For me, this is not a shortcoming by the bad experience with a more expensive bed with webs. The individual cassettes are well and evenly filled. The cotton cover crackling / rustling a smidgen, possible that are that after prolonged use.
All in all I can recommend the down blanket.
