However, a few things have changed since some reviews that they no longer meet aktellen stand.
- The pad comes with Android 2.1. However, this is no longer a problem. Right after the commissioning of the WLAN, the update will be offered to 2.2, which also runs smoothly.
- Google Market is not installed. To this end, there was until last week a rather complicated Nachinstallierprozedur. Since a few days, however, this is no longer necessary. There are the Market Place for both 2.1 and 2.2 for .apk than one file. So you just have to install, boot, then you have Google Market Place. Even beginners will have no trouble with it.
- The statements about the battery life are very wiedersprüchlich here. My device is as new, at the moment min. 5 hours day with all sorts in use. Also playing videos, I wg. the CPU load and the associated consumption find worth mentioning are. Even under these assumptions I get the battery hardly discharged. I think it is realistic to use the device on average 2-3 hours a day and having to back after a week at the charging cable. In short, I find the battery performance as well exquisite.
- The display is highly luminous but, as described often to look good basically only from an angle.
- One small thing that struck me: I have a cell phone a HD2, also with 2-finger touch option. Compared to the feel of this mechanism on the HD2 for Archos, this is the Archos really bad. You can use it, it works well, but nice is something else.
- Even a trifle and then a small comparison with the HD2: slightly shake his head, I had to but when I saw the structure of the keyboard, the aufploppt if you want to make text inputs. I'll have an extra switch with a special key to entering numbers I find really an underground operation. Da has not thought really someone. However, these standard keyboard can be replaced.
Conclusion: The nagging of course 'nagging at a high level'. Nothing should prevent a because I can not imagine that there is currently a better starter model among tablets. I am deeply impressed.
