The Revolution is a dual OS smartphone: that is, when you start it running it first with Android 4.2.2 and you can then Firefox OS (here called Boot to Gecko) change if you want. The only downside: It has no boot manager - which means you have to choose between one or the other. But compared to the Alcatel One Touch Fire, it is a quantum leap (only with regard of the operating system Firefox OS). It has a large, very good resolution display, an 8 MP main camera with selectable flash and a 1.3MP front camera. The camera features are compared with the Alcatel already much more advanced. Working with the Revolution is fluid and fast under FOS, which is probably also the much more powerful processor. Also, the memory (4GB) is substantially greater than the Alcatel. It is possible to insert a memory card up to 32GB. Conclusion: For anyone who wants to get involved in the experiment Firefox OS and would like to have joy because this smartphone is highly recommended. The Revolution is large, elegant and very flat.
