1. Rowenta VU 5140
2. Fakir VC 45 S
The two devices we have compared to 3 persons:
Manufacturer information Air flow: 1. 54 m³ / min 2. 41 m³ / min, both 60 Watt, 3 Geschwindigstufen / buttons
Subjective air velocity at all stages of air flow rate of 2 is contrary to the manufacturer's instructions but noticeably higher as of Figure 1.
Noise measured with App in 20 cm Distance: 1 and 2 about 85 db (interestingly, at all levels)
Sound subjectively: If the 3 stages, but 2 has a low Tonrequenz and seemed a bit quieter as 1 despite Luftmege.
Verstellungbarkeit Height: 1. 30 CN 2. 20 cm (relatively unimportant since both greatly tilting)
Joint for inclination: Affects 1 in something more stable as 2nd, but construction ansich identical
Design: Gänzendes, black plastic of 1 affects more significant as the dark gray plastic of 2 ("antrahzit called")
Fan cage: 1. 2. chrome painted black
Quality: The oft-quoted (higher) quality of Rowenta UE is not clearly recognizable, appears more visually so that industry Dunkelgrau of Fakir is a bit boring and is geradeso saved from chrome basket a little
Construction: Actually at 1st and 2nd strikingly similar, mating and screw tight
Made in: 1. China 2. Is not it, only Germany without made in, probably China
Ozillation: With two 75 degree tilting, to avoid drafts, running with us always usually at stage 1 with, by "plugs" on a motor on / off
Durability: Still no statement possible because both new devices
Conclusion:
Both not bad, but do not come in the volume and quality of airflow but to ceiling fans approach which must, however, have a permanent place.
Will buy more again 2nd, when the hysteria at the demand level fans sometime times past and hopefully achieve the rates to normal levels.
