When I saw Fear 2 for the first time on the PC of a friend, I was hooked on the spot. Appealing level design, good Synchro, dense atmosphere and creepiness topped even the predecessor. Armed with these impressions I bought Fear 2 immediately self, but for the PS3 ... and was terribly disappointed. I started the game even with some anticipation, so they quickly vanished after I hit the first enemy. The reason was the downright mutilating Kurzüng the game. Each batch of brutality and realistic representation in the gunfight has been cut entirely. Pressing the trigger of the weapon, so the only reason to believe that you just actually firing his weapon, the falling ammo and the flaps of smoke from the barrel. No bullets, no bullet holes in walls and if you caught an enemy, you do not know whether the good man has died of the votes balls or heart failure. He simply turns over. No screams, no gunshot wounds or any indication that the guy has not just put down once briefly to rest a bit. While you can fix this "problem" in the PC version with a patch (as it did mentioned friend above), this is impossible with the PS3 version. The game is fun to experience this quasi no longer exists. As well as the good horror atmosphere does not help much. After about an hour I have ceased to gamble and the game sold directly back! More than one star is because no longer there.
