Cute game

The Escapists is down pretty cute. I have already seen it in Markiplier as Lets Play on Youtube, so I already knew what I was getting myself. The Kleenen Knastis and policemen are held in the pixel-style, which is somewhat reminiscent of Minecraft, or the good old early days of games under the C-64. ^^ The aim of the game is that its prisons (there are 5 of them) escapes. At first you can only the simplest "Center Perks" play, the others are gradually switched to free, if you have managed a level (= jail) to escape. You can select a character you (though not itself put together) and give it a name. So much for the own personalization of Charas. ^^

Oh, little side note: The game runs only under Steam and THEREFORE need necessarily an Internet connection and a Steam account. What I do not look at positive or negative, but running under: is so. ;-) With the CD you also get a Steam code. Of course you can install using the supplied Silberling the game, I have now simply activate the code at Steam and from there downloaded the game, which I have any updates in the sack.

Although The Escapists pretty easy comes from the design, I find it really quite appealing and I love the background music, which is really well done, not annoying and you can not say of all game soundtracks by far. Where were we? Oh yes, you have your Pixelmann given a name and now explores the jail. There are, of course, a tutorial, which can go through it, but ultimately it is now running at learning by doing. You have the prison escape, so you steal things from you fellow prisoners, are favors from, explore your surroundings and try to find your way out of the buildings. You can from the captured or ertauschten things about 100 objects (which I do not even close am) tinker and it leads not only one way, but many outside.

The Escapists has no real story, it goes alone, only to break it. To me it's fun and I will continue to remain, because I have not done any level. But it fascinates me the longer term, such as Unturned (even one pixel game, but free and in a 3D pixel world) I do not agree and I finds also a little bit of expensive (sorry).

Summary: A good game for young and old for a long rainy afternoons. But it shall not captivate months, but that is I believe not even the intention of the game developers.
