DAB + Dual

Have the equipment purchased during Cyber ​​Monday ("bargain mentality" ;-), although I was really skeptical ...
1. towards DAB + - had bought just over 2 years ago a small, fairly expensive DAB + Radio (Sangean DPR34). This is indeed chic and has an acceptable reception, but is operated via a single turn and push-wheels - making it virtually inoperable, is for almost 2 years mainly in the corner.
2. over dual - is already no longer the traditional German brand, but made in China (at least the part area, the DAB radios sells).

But I am very pleasantly surprised:
- The part can be via various buttons super-easy and -logisch use, a one-time about 5 minutes look at the informative manual will do just fine.
- The processing is solid: easy to read display, a practical stand, stable antenna, buttons with useful pressure points, etc ...
- Network and Batterieberieb.
- Receives all available DAB stations (currently where I live in NRW = 24) without any interference. The FM reception is not satisfactory.
- DAB + is great! With regard to sound, variety of channels, and more susceptibility a quantum leap compared to FM! And for free! And does not need WiFi or a data-Flat!

Of course you can not expect miracles in the mid double-digit price range. The display illumination (approx. 10 seconds light, after dark, not a full off) can not change it, and there is no possibility of the battery charge in the device. The sound of the built-in mono speaker is ok. When headphone listening (of course, stereo) of DAB stations would be particularly about the lack of any noise - could possibly be a bit louder.

Overall, a useful daily companion, take occasional news, traffic reports or listening to music - for "small" money. I am very pleased!
