The whole saga focuses mainly on Laurels emotional life, how it deals with how their relationship with the boys ... and so on. The real danger of this action is usually more of a side issue, because it is almost mainly in the first 3 Virteln just that Laurel Although their David loves, but cherishes even overwhelming feelings for Tamani, and so it happens often times that Laurel can not control himself and he comes too close, in spite of her relationship with David :)
I do not know why I like this illogical exaggerated emotional chaos, but I like it. The characters (almost) all have their own idiosyncrasies and quirks. Especially Chelsea with the big mouth and the heart of gold like that.
However, we think now, after having three books long only read about it that somehow Laurel Tamani and David loves and can not decide so right: "Damn, finally take a good and is"
*** SPOILER ***
At one point, Laurel is so angry that she does with David concluded. She drives to her old home in Orick, who runs after her? Tamani. Both are getting closer and she realizes that she has probably love him (what the reader is clear since volume one, Laurel understands only really in the third). And after the reader finally happy that she opts for the elves, no, she then goes with David "Only as friends" on that damn ball and appears then again to be not quite sure.
It stimulates a scary, but if a book may have a swept so that speaks only for itself :)
*** END ***
Laurels feeling nervous Kriesen wirlich scary: Laurel simply has no idea who she wants. And David and Tamani behave as if a kind of laurel Prinzsessin or anything similar. I do not really understand how both can be so much effort to it, at Laurel is actually nothing special (okay, it is a "fairy" but as a personality?). Moreover, Laurel has somehow convinced that Tamani lived only for them and even if she can not have him, it must also have no other. So they react quite jealous of Yuki that makes itself obvious pretty much from Tamani.
Laurel has not really besonderren features, it is actually quite normal and looks good too. I find her, none of these 'special' features same as Chelsea, in terms of their personality.
And despite my Gemeckers: I love the book and what happens in it! And I love the story! Pike somehow manages again and again to take a the spell ... and I actually read the book only because of the love story, why bother me that the basic act partially get sidelined, even further.
*** SPOILER ***
Actually, it has become obvious with whom Laurel will come together at the end. After all, they wanted to beat the new exchange student Yuki, which is probably an elf in the face, just because it has Tamani smiled ... after closing with David is, asks Chelsea, which is obviously still in love with David, whether it okay Laurel is for when she invites him to the ball, which Laurel then has no problem :)
At the end of David is something very, shall we say, panicked. I suspect it is the whole thing ivory soon be too much. Would be glad, because I have been from the beginning and will remain Tamani team to the fourth band.
And after Chelsea wants to make up with her boyfriend, I personally believe that David and Chelsea who also actually Gant well together, come together and there is for a happy ending for Laurel and Tamani.
*** End ***
But despite the danger in the history starts only really in the last couple of hundred pages, the reader groping in the dark. Pike has done a wonderful job to lead the reader astray and to keep the secret for long: Thus, the conclusion is a (bad) surprise and glows a fourth tape from which I expect I honestly more action, because now in Avalon danger ... I hope this will now not only focus on Laurel / Tamani / David. Wild is a beautiful centerpiece and is (hopefully) the prelude to a thrilling finale. The cliffhanger is nasty, and when I had finished it I was like, "Damn, I want to know how it goes ...".
Conclusion: I love this series, precisely because of this annoying, totally unnecessary sense of confusion, Laurel settled back and herspringerei (what's so great about her that two guys to fight it ??) and romantic love scenes. A beautiful series of books, which I can only recommend.
