Gameplay:
I'm starting times to the positive part. The fight battles are top notch again. The action-packed battles slow motion grab one from the first to the last second. The new cover system lined up perfectly in it. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. A big plus is the co-op mode, which invites you to second gamble. This makes namely again twice as much fun. The Paxton Fettel option to play, are new ways to tackle the game.
Multiplayer:
The multiplayer mode includes 4 various unconventional modes. Only me the multiplayer mode has not promised because they have simply given me no fun. I missed classic modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture the Flag, who made me in the predecessors have fun and have motivated me again to insert the disk. Although you have to keep the developers benefit that they wanted to integrate innovation, but on the other hand what is supported by the classical modes integrate? For me, a thick minus point.
So now I come to the negative part, which has made the completion of the series quite destroyed.
Story / atmosphere:
The story sounds at first quite well. "Alma is pregnant and a new dimension of horror grows,
while you're fighting with your bloodthirsty brother through a hellish nightmare. Working in
Team or die alone on the deadly mission, Alma oppose [...] "Man, what could have been done everything from the last part After the great cliffhanger of FEAR 2 (Spoiler alert:. Where one sees otherwise as a ghost girl the main character raped) I was very excited to see what happens next, but the story is told very detaillarm and dispense with previous events -.. say Jin's death while you sink in the previous parts ever deeper into the past at Alma and one an insight into gets the terrible events which remains only a small part of the story of FEAR 3. The only interesting thing was to find out how the two brothers were treated. I have indeed asked me since the first part. Alma is indeed the center of the whole story . In FEAR 3 is the ghost girl but only one goal. Who has been looking forward to exciting moments Alma, is bitterly disappointed because Alma remains to very few appearances always absent. This is quite disappointing, as it was the main reason the oppressive atmosphere and also provided for action-packed scenes has (FEAR 2). I am personally disappointed that unveiling the exterior of Point Man enormous. 1. Is the Point Man not an old bearded man, because he was a newcomer to the FEAR squad and was treated by his first squad even demeaning and it is the little brother of Fettel and 2. It also made a part of the atmosphere, not knowing who you really controls since.
Conclusion:
FEAR 3 is definitely more fun first person shooter that shows its full potential in co-op. The multiplayer mode is a matter of taste, but has given me, not because of lack of promised classic modes. The story and atmosphere is due to the co-op fully on track and provides a superficial action without stress and mysterious Alma-moments. Unfortunately, the feeling of the predecessor is not even in the slightest. Shooter fans will the game have certainly a lot of fun, FEAR- and horror fans are disappointed. Even with my pink Fanboy goggles I give the title only 3 out of 5 stars. It is very sad that Monolith had no interest in a FEAR game and have passed from the outset on Day 1 Studio.
