I ordered this case because I have a 15 year old ATX Bigtower that should be replaced (so really pretty, the old things are now not ^^). Price / performance seemed only times not bad, although it certainly is in the price range no high-end housing. As the case came I of course immediately unpacked and installed my hardware. The handling of the case is ne se super matter. All components fit well into the appropriate slots (large ATX motherboard, PSU BeQuiet, Palit GeForce GTX 550Ti Sonic, 1x SATA HDD, 1x DVD drive, 1 pair Kaltlichkathoden 10cm incl. Power supply). The mounting brackets for the drive slots and the hard disk are indeed favorable from plastic, but keeping everything where it should be and are fairly easy to fix. Started computer, losgezockt, everything great. Only the built-in low-quality case fan is a trace too loud. After about 1.5 hours of run time, the fan of the graphics card suddenly started boot. This is nothing unusual in this model per se. As the fan but always of high-speed turning and finally arrived at the top of his performance I was forced even look up what's going on. Shut down the computer and touched the body to Entkabelung ... and also released again. The lid and the side panels were so hot that I could not touch the computer long. Accordingly, was now clear why the GraKa turned up so. As the case was somewhat cooled down, I put myself on troubleshooting.
The case is, as now many others, so constructed that the power supply sits down. The NT is the big fan at the bottom but as an important part of the rotation in a cooling housing and pulls the warm air in the upper normal range by the NT to the outside so that no build up of heat. The fact that the NT but sits below eliminates this positive side effect. It would up at least one additional fan of this task are attached accepts. Of course, this is not by default while the case would have to be bought. It would make sense beyond yet to install another fan either on the side or on the top of the housing. This does not work because these are no further recesses in the housing. This would have to be retrofitted so also in doubt what course would lead to the destruction of the housing, at least as regards the guarantee. Not to mention that I personally am not a big fan of wasted electricity to actually unnecessary additional fan.
These are precisely the reasons why I pack this case again and will return because the components in my computer are unfortunately no sauna-compatible and would thus die sooner or later (probably rather short ...) one after the Hitzetot.
I admit that I myself am quite to blame for the misery, would I yes in advance to something better pay attention to the selection of my new housing. But for my own stupidity and the otherwise quite nice Design I give 3 stars, but I can recommend it to anyone to buy housing. I now prefer to put ~ 20 on top and buy me n neat.
