The supplied PowerDVD Version thinks just for newer Blu-Ray repeatedly any incomprehensible error messages and do not want to play the Blu-Ray. For most films were eventually, but it was always an adventure, start with 10 times PC new, separate TV and plug it again, close all background programs, set the audio output to another output, connect the player again, PowerDVD reinstalling, etc etc . And, although I come from the field of computer science and have therefore much to do with systematic troubleshooting, I could find no guaranteed solution to today ... This goes so far that the film takes place, and I then PowerDVD finish and the same movie want to start again, and then suddenly an error occurs ... updates PowerDVD lead then new error, and at the old they do not help (seemingly) well.
I can not imagine that it will not look different from a lot of other Blu-ray drives, I see it still as a reason to distribute here a better rating, however, unfortunately. Anyone wishing to use the drive for movies, is probably better off with a separate Blu-ray player.
And for the people who depend on the play via PC, good luck! In my case it is probably the DHCP. Playback has relatively often works when I started the film first, and then have connected the TV. However, not 100%.
With another playback software the unit is running perhaps reasonable, and are otherwise least sensible error messages. The supplied PowerDVD a message looks like this: "This could have a negative impact on CyberLink PowerDVD Check with a Anitviren software whether an infection is present, or try to reinstall CyberLink PowerDVD.." ... Well then everything is clear.
