Deep green and beautiful thing

Goodbye Lullaby (Audio CD)

Customer Review

First, I must go in this review anticipate that I do not understand that some people 'Let Go', Avril's first album, rock found. Let Go has more quiet ballads than rock songs. The only 'rockier' which I do not even want to talk about this real rock (except perhaps for Sk8er Boi) are Complicated, Unwanted, Skater Boy, Losing Grip ... but otherwise? Only her reputation widerborstiger corresponded to a Rockgöre. At concerts she has even Bascetcase, Fuel and other rock Lider gecovert ... Under My Skin was already quite different. Although it was clearly negative oriented. And then came The Best Damn Thing. The Best Damn Thing was by far the most rocking album, with the difference that Avril took the pink girlish image here ... I understand the Bescherde by so many people do not have the old 'rocking' Avril back wollen. In no other Album has it ever cursed so much and rocked and electric guitars used (and when I say curse, I do not mean the censored version of the album, where for example, in "I do not have to try" 'Get Ready, Get Ready 'motherf **** r statt'get ready' singing. half the album was nachzensiert) There is a total of only three quiet songs, the rest is pretty self-confident and overflowing rock brats-positive Merry 'rock.'

And then now. Goodbye Lullabay. Even the cover is fantastic, you realize that it is now much more mature and so it pushes the already made with the design of the cover. I am glad that they are now no longer has this pink W, Equipment and pinkte stuff while on stage ...
Goddbye Lullaby is a compelling acoustic album. Avril's voice comes finally back to its best advantage. In The Best Damn Thing, there was rather a few moments in which you could hear her pure voice as well. You can tell that she has made herself tidy, also voting default (who compares concerts from 2003 with today's live performances, amazed Bauklötze ^^).

Blackstar:
Very nice, but could be longer. You can tell that this was a jingle. :) As intro but okay.

What the hell:
Reminiscent of The Best Damn Thing, quite a nice catchy tune. Also corresponds to the current charts.

Push:
Here at last we remember something of their development. Push one of the strongest songs on the album. The duet in Evan grape field in the third stanza is super!

Wish you were here:
I like better in the Acoustic Version. the song itself is beautiful, only this pop clock annoying creeps. It sounds more like one of those typical pop songs, and as Acoustic song it just comes much better advantage. In spite of everything, very nicely done.

Smile:
Horny, horny, horny!
That was the first song I had heard from the new album and the words above my approximate action. Sounds matured, cheerful, cheeky, again with swear words and still nice. Everything perfect Avril song needs.

Stop Standing There
Once again one of these 'mhmh nice' songs where you can listen away easily. Is still very beautiful. Sounds a little bit old-fashioned, somewhat tinged sixties years style.

ICH liebe dich
Catches n bissl stupid, but increases. Another 'nice' song, but I did not really skin off your feet. Listen I still quite like.

Everybody hurts
So that's just ... no words. One of the best songs from the album. It is great !!!! Beautiful, emotional, imaginative ... ten stars !!

Not enough
Also very well done ... quiet, but at the end and in between a little more rock ... successful mix.

4 Real
Cool's production of her! Very emotional, I like it well. Especially the chorus ...
Darlin '
One of those "oh how nice" songs. Is in terms of quality on a par with Everybody Hurts.

Goodbye
A string concert? When Avril? WOW! The most beautiful ballad of her ... right ... and soulful voice erst.Ist a very personal song that she herself produced.

Remember When: Beautifully. About the quality of the songs 'Wish You Were Here' and 'Everybody hurts'.

Alice
I was quite surprised when the first chorus was made and immediately the third verse came ... long version! All in all, however, is the noise a bit annoying sometimes, because she cries constantly in the song. -.- Is after all very nice. Only the name "Hidden Track" is absurd ... when a track is hidden (for example, that he is in another song and only ten seconds after the first song is concerned) and also still on the envelope the name. .. hidden it ?? O_O

The acoustic versions:
Different from the original only from the fact that here more emphasis is placed on guitar and piano. Avril sings mostly the same as in the other tracks, some tracks changed something (something like: Instead of high by deep singing). Wish you were here is great (!), Push equally and What the hell, I personally find better than the original.

Bad Reputation:
Who 'The Best Damn Tour in Toronto' seen, has also seen Bad Reputation by Avril there. Excellent !! Very nice that this is now on the CD. Although there is only one cover, but is well known, the covers are so rockier than their own songs :) The song is really good.

The album is beautiful, very beautiful ... emotional and rousing. Quiet like Let Go and yet profound, it's gone from 'unsafe Teen'. Also it comes to a lot of negative issues such as in Under my skin, but here they usually do not sound gloomy and "black". And individual songs have rock shares. But the only songs that are reminiscent of The Best Damn Thing Smile, What the hell, and Blackstar (Blackstar recalls the piano very on songs like 'Innocence' and 'I will be'.

The best songs are:
Push (normal and acoustic)
Wish you were here (again both)
Smile (!!! the video is super !!!)
Everybbody hurts (without words)
Not enough
Darlin (without words)
Remember When
4 Real
Goodbye
Alice
WTH Accoustic

Also, the book is made Cover- pretty, with beautiful pictures and the lyrics.

DVD:
Pretty good for fans, I have personally not have. However you erfähr lot to the album, the song and its creation,

Conclusion:
A must for all who love Avril's music!
