Pretty annoyed I am, however, that one of the two short RJ45 test cable was not meticulously crafted. In the first test the cable still seemed to be in order. This one tasted so first. But as I was looking for a mistake on patch panel, the device informed me that pin 4 would not connect. After going through three doses tested, all of which had a problem with Pin 4, I was then still suspicious. So it turned out that had to slightly jiggle at one of the test leads to the pin 4 is no longer ordinary connector contact. Until then, I had of course already disassembled half my trunking and hung out with the punch down behind the patch panel. That really annoyed me, because just returned from a test cable with a tester I expect reliability. That cost me unnecessary time and frustration.
