Have after a long search on test sites and read reviews at last found the ideal device, the radio, MP3 CDs, burned CDs Audio, purchased CDs, USB MP3 players and sticks and can play SD card.
I'm relatively young and have high expectations when it comes to quality and price of electronic goods, but many have unfortunately
Reviews not helped because they were written either by undemanding Größmütterchen
or people who had to complain about at all.
I can help all here that an objective opinion
appreciate and want to read a review of only that appliance.
FIRST IMPRESSION
After ordering the device Sundays Tuesday came shipped with GLS. Adequately protected packed it was.
No small parts, only the cable is packed separately in foil. As usual.
The unit is very compact as hoped, but not so small that you have to think you have a Korean Toys
from the piñata.
Very robust construction, nothing rattles or sounds while on the other hand to knock thin plastic.
For a mid-range device very surprising.
Design as on the picture, light appearance matches with a full-blown boom box by the tubular shape.
Nothing extravagant, but nothing boring. I find it very attractive.
Goods first withdrawn the film followed the easy first operation.
The buttons are easy to read and the remote control is a great feature.
One hears the faint fresh Kunsstoffgeruch, but the warp even after a short time.
THE TEST
The CD opens Toploader gentle as the trunk a Mercedes. Very elegant.
The display is easy to read, however, reflects something when the appliance is at eye level (eg on the shelf).
The display shows song number, radio frequency, etc. , but not song title or artist as an MP3 player.
Was also not expected. Langt yes even with a 45 euro unit.
It is a "Power" button on the front. So the device is turned on.
However, an additional slider "MP3 / CD ___ ___ OFF RADIO" above left. The "Power" button so you need
Press only once at first use, then you can always on or off at the top.
The radio is noise-free, and pleasant to listen to, at all volumes.
The CD features keep their promise. Myself burned audio and MP3 CDs tried, but also original CDs.
The player recognizes the formats very quickly, so pure disk, wait 1 second PLAY. Perfect.
The USB hub and SD card slot is on the bottom of Frint behind a sliding panel.
Also it is easy to open and process stable. Also on the processing of connections there is nothing to complain about.
The USB Use: Here divorced at the reviews (not here at Amazon) the spirits.
Here comes the objective impression:
I have about 700 songs on the MP3 player (irrelevant for this assessment)
Once it is connected, the display shows the complete song number. No albums or other frippery.
The good thing is, as long as you have your songs alphabetically geornet (normally does one do that), and a song of Artist "XYZ"
want to hear, you have to jump from song nich 1-680, but can jump from 700 backwards.
Ideal for MP3 use is the supplied remote control. There is a button with which you can navigate in 10er jumps.
Even with 700 songs you have to be the most patient man nich. I would recommend anyway, the MP3 data on a Stick / Player
not to keep so high. Just go faster if you only have 200 songs, since this machine is not designed as an iPod for 400
Songs to skip a inger movement.
Here, the device scores so by navigating in increments of 10.
Drawback: When a CD is inserted and the USB hub is a device plugged recognizes the player only the CD. So you can only have a medium inserted / plugged and not move from CD to USB as one pleases one.
Easy CD out when heard via USB and vice versa. No doomsday.
Esgibt a "BASS" button on the unit. You hear a slight improvement, but not serious. Ups and downs can not adjust to, but are okay. Would be nice to if an equalizer would still be found. Who is expected but something more than laugh ...;)
Now the remote control: requires 2 AAA batteries. Has buttons for
-Programmwahl
-10 Points back
-10 Points before
-Play / Pause / USB
-1 Point back / coils
Coils -1 place before /
-Stop / SD
-Repeat / Random (Shuffle Play)
-Volume +
-Volume -
Now it gets interesting: The "Repeat / Random" button, there are the options:
A) Press 1x song is repeated
B) Press 2x Full Playlist is repeated
C) 3x press folder will be repeated
D) 4x press Shuffle playback (random)
Small drawback, which was also mentioned here: It is possible on the device directly to change the volume,
but also on the remote control. However, they operate independently.
This means that you can adjust the volume of 1-15. However, one must have the wheel turned up on the player to the
Remote control to change the entire spectrum. If the remote control is often in use this is also recommended.
Problem is here: When the wheel is only half turned up on the player detects the remote control this condition initially as the highest volume, can not therefore turn higher.
As I said the recommendation to correct the small problem: Either turn on the wheel and fully take care of everything with the remote control, or stay away from the volume button on the remote control and regulate only by bike.
Unfortunately there is no "POWER" button on the remote control, so you have to turn the power on so.
The sound is not "perfectly adequate", but "very zufiedenstellend". This device allows even the sound for neighbors. Seriously. If the quality of the upper volume range is slightly worse, this is normal, to 150 euros devices.
Sometimes it was me but only at the Download Quality. Many songs I could play without quality restriction on full volume, which is very very loud.
The headphone jack works fine, but is generally not used, since I own several MP3 players and would therefore have no great device to my headphones.
The only thing I could not test the SD card function, since I do not have. Is for me anyway just an extra feature that I probably need never use.
Dimensions (frontal view): 30cm wide, 17.5cm deep, 15.5 cm high (without extended antenna and carrying handle)
For indoor use, such as in the kitchen or in the bedroom / children but also for the sound larger classroom or
Dance rooms, etc. to recommend without restrictions.
As it is in the use at the BBQ or in the garden I do not know, nor had no opportunity to test it.
That there is no power button on the remote control, volume adjustment requires compromise and that you have to take out the CD for the USB use, are trifles !! Who can prevent you from buying something due, rather Euro 5 saves or 50 euros more pay and an inferior device gets, is your own fault!
I hope this detailed assessment has convinced to buy this device. I for one could not be happier !!! :)
Anyone choosing this compact all-rounder, which I can only congratulate.
Have Fun!
