We buy the small bones of our Papillon indeed repeatedly, but they usually stay for a short time and are have never really eaten. When we have visitors from other dogs, these take Delights but like and are usually quite a while busy. The filling seems very tasty also for our dog, because if I pluck out, it is eaten immediately.
