I wanted a compact yet complete unit at the possibilities of shooting and it meets all the requirements I needed. Beautiful pictures, whether smart or manual.
I took off a star for a bad point of Panasonic at the advertising on their site because they highlight the time lapse mode (with settings) while that is not a mode "apart" and even less adjustable. Damage to base the sale on a half-lie. *

Otherwise, no complaints, I'm thrilled!

* Update 12/07/2012: Response (finally) received from Panasonic about this feature Time Lapse: "it does not exist on this unit and the video that you saw on the site corresponds to another device." So there was a function somewhat similar toy but not a real time lapse, what I knew. The video was shown on the TZ30 page has disappeared! The pub is now good, so I commend all the stars because I'm always happy. Same for the 2nd battery!
