by now catchy Terms of Dirt Devil DD2822-1 Yazz-1 Bagless Canister Singlecyclone I would like to ask my review available.
Quality / packaging / assembly
The Dirt Devil is delivered in a reasonably large packaging. All parts are safe and well-protected in my opinion. Assembling the parts is very simple and requires no technical studies. The same applies for the instructions. This is completely understandable for not so technology savvy people written or illustrated.
Suction power
The suction power is in my humble opinion very well. Here, however, one has to distinguish, what surface you sucks. I have moved to my 4 walls preferred flow or laminate flooring. Here, the vacuum cleaner sucks really outstanding, but you should turn every now and then the air supply.
The noise in my opinion is still in a tolerable frame, but compared to other vacuum cleaners it is quite loud.
Who wants to clean many carpets, should bear in mind that the vacuum cleaner can little to not be moved, even with the addition of outside air to the front. I have only a few fluffy carpeting in my 4 walls. This can be but quite timid or vacuuming when then pulled backwards only. This unfortunately also only satisfactory.
Even a small comment on the Dirt Devil Team: According to the manual, it is forbidden people, animals, etc. suck. With all due respect, the suction power is already ok, but I can imagine the aspiration of people very difficult, unless they are made of plastic and come from Lego or Playmobil. ;-)
Filter / emptying
The emptying of the container is solved in my opinion well. Still, I always empty my tank on the terrace, as dust turbulences can not be excluded. Since the Dirt Devil is bagless, no additional costs for the acquisition of additional vacuum cleaner bag.
Cleaning
After each emptying of the dust container of the exhaust filter should also be cleaned. It is important that this should not be washed, as it would be possible in some other manufacturers with HEPA filters. Purification of Ausblasfilters is ok, but I'm not now the one who performs this after each emptying. But that must be able to each judge for yourself, especially in view of the odor after repeated vacuuming.
What I have noticed?
- The vacuum cleaner is running in my opinion well afterwards and not tip at every turn to. This is an absolute plus.
- The parts are not clicked but only plugged. The included accessories (Parquet and mini turbo brush) acts not an exceptional build quality. However, I now could not detect any wear during the trial period.
- The combination crevice nozzle, upholstery nozzle and dusting brush is clipped to the tube. I think that's quite handy that I have to carry around only one nozzle, as it acts tidier. However, this is indeed attached to said hose. Because these whirls through the area, you could stick to the furniture quite times. I do not yet happened, but I see danger ahead for crowded spaces.
- The Ausziehkabel has a radius of 7.5 meters. For many homes probably sufficient, but at homes starts as often only the pleasure.
- The suction pipe is naturally adjustable in height, so that one does not have to suck in an uncomfortable position.
- The weight is to my mind still in order. Who has many floors to vacuuming, should perhaps look for a lighter vacuum cleaner, but I feel the weight as still perfectly fine.
- Visually I like him quite well. He looks in my opinion made by stylish.
Conclusion:
I forgive the Dirt Devil 4 stars because it is from the price / performance here perfectly fine. Who vacuum cleaner models previously used in the higher price range, will certainly attract a small pout, because the processing is according to the price just fine.
Who has to clean much carpeting, perhaps should again look for an alternative. Here I would rather virtually awarded 3 stars.
Since I have personally much laminate and stone floors, I think the 4 star fine for me.
