The first tests were relatively unspectacular. Interestingly, it was when I lodged the SIM. The Tab reported an Illegal Sim pop and turned itself off. Okay, so maybe I had the wrong SIM rum in it? Upside down, the tab reports that it does not recognize the SIM. (Yes, you read that right: you can insert your SIM in several positions, although the nose should actually prevent ...) At some point it hit me: The Illegal Sim popup comes only when you insert the SIM in the correct direction when the unit , After switching on again it works.
In the operation, there are differences to my smartphone. Some I like, some less; is probably to a large extent a question of taste and habit.
When installing new apps I regularly get an error 941. Just install again works then. There are probably solutions to the Internet; I get along anyway with rather little apps, I have not researched further.
The cameras are equipped with 5 MP and 0.3 MP not necessarily plentiful. The sound is weakening also; especially in the telephony headset should definitely be used - but that lends itself alone the size for the tabs on. Performance-wise, it seems to me that Tab but to be acceptable, but I'm not a power user. The display provides a good representation (but not Full HD) even under extreme angles. Normally that's a good thing, but when you're in public with the tablet on the go, you should keep this in mind. Expand the device can still be with a micro SD card up to 32 GB.
The battery life is good, the charging time is very difficult.
Conclusion: The combination of smartphone and tablet is good. However, the shortcomings in the design disturb me (alone, that the SIM falschrum may appeal ...) and cheap processing (SIM cover). But an observation that is worth in any case.
