But I, I would advise caution to anyone interested, if he wants to buy the cheap Exilim Z12. Perhaps the more expensive models from the series are better, who knows the Z12 I'd advise anyone anyway.
One of the disadvantages of the camera is that it is so small that you do not know where to how to put it to touch them or to allow the really beautiful piece gets no scratches. I have me then but desirable in practice over time a firmer camera, even though the then not so great looks like the Exilim. This disadvantage could still cope but surely.
An even greater disadvantage is the marked tendency for noise. Sure, you can not completely avoid the technical reasons. But the Exilim Z12 already roars endlessly on a sunny afternoon in the room. Why 7.2 MP if instead more details simply gets only more noise? Since you would have much more of it, if the manufacturer would use sensors with lower pixel count, but are really noise.
The biggest drawback is that the sensor of the camera is so sensitive that many snapshots blurred completely. So I want to take the camera either on vacation, because they probably completely spanks me 80% of the impressions, nor do I want to use it for photos of items for Ebay because their susceptibility to noise and wobble-demands too much patience and time, only to one at the end but then left with highest mediocre results permit. I signed up with the setting options, ie the pre-programmed modes for different situations, the camera employs intensive. In the experiments, sometimes quite good pictures came out, but it is in practice not possible to make dozens of attempts for each photo. The real quality of the images you see unfortunately only on the PC and not on the small screen of the camera. I see absolutely not, how can photograph well because of its handling, and sensor adjustment with the device intended. The unit is expected to disappoint even Anspruchslose like me in the long run. My really quite serious suggestion for people looking for a cheap digital camera: Buy yourself a webcam or an older digital camera used. Then you will save even more money than if you buy the Exilim Z12, and the result is the same or very likely better. A mini-camera with 7.2 MP sensor for the price is simply no meaningful product, even if it is produced, because it want so many customers. I save at any rate back to a larger and higher-quality camera.
Conclusion: The convenient Casio Exilim Z12-indeed comes in a high-quality housing, however, the sensor of the camera is so sensitive that snapshots usually next to walk properly and you still receive only very mediocre results with more patience. The camera is not available in a pure Blender.
PS My "Compare Camera" was 5-year-old mid-sized Sony Cybershot P72 3.2 MP camera for days was 250 EUR. The had all the problems mentioned here only to a much lesser extent. With my old Sony I had to pull the trigger in poor conditions only three times and almost always one of the three pictures was then "fully OK" itself.
