Windows 7 is a great operating system. It offers enough advanced options to use and is very stable on applications. In addition, the 64 bits is not "restrained" for detecting the RAM. Clearly, if your PC has more than 3GB of RAM, take the 64 bits. Namely, the OEM version means that the software can be installed on one single PC, and on your installation, the software "patch" the motherboard and the hard disk. So if you change one of these two parts, either it will buy software, or otherwise negotiate with microsoft for reuse. Installation is very simple, considering the price charged, there's really nothing to say. Go ahead with your eyes closed!
